The precious salsobromoiodic thermal waters of Salsomaggiore are divided into four types: natural salsoiodic water, de-ironed salsoiodic water, mother water and decalcified mother water. The different types of thermal water have distinct health properties that are employed in a range of exclusive health and rehabilitation treatments.
This water has a high concentration of mineral salts, making it one of the richest in nature. Its mud is used in the treatment of various medical conditions, including bone, muscle, respiratory and circulatory disorders, as well as women’s health issues in general. To complete the spa experience, Zoja’s new rehabilitation department combines traditional physiotherapy treatments with the potential of hydrokinesis therapy in salsobromoiodic thermal water.
