Ospedale San Raffaele S.r.l.
The San Raffaele Hospital is an IRCCS (Scientific Institute for Research, Hospitalization, and Healthcare) and a university multi-disciplinary hospital of international relevance and high specialization, founded in 1971.
In 2012, it became part of Gruppo San Donato, the largest private hospital group in Italy.
The hospital offers 1,355 accredited beds, 37 operating theatres, 4 surgical robots, more than 100 research laboratories, and over 60 clinical departments dedicated to patient care.
It is a point of reference in Italy, Europe, and worldwide for scientific production, particularly in the development of innovative therapies and new diagnostic techniques based on advanced imaging and genomics. It also houses a Center dedicated to Personalized and Preventive Medicine.
The hospital serves as a High-Specialty Emergency Center (EAS), a Transplant Center, is home to a Cancer Center, and is a key institution within the Regional Network for Rare Diseases.
It has ranked first – for scientific excellence and quality of care – among all the Research Hospitals in Italy.
