The San Carlo di Nancy Hospital, located in via Aurelia in Rome, is a multi-specialist hospital accredited with the National Health Service (SSN) and equipped with an emergency room.
Robotic Surgery Hospital in the Heart of Rome
The hospital is located in Via Aurelia, not far from the Vatican City.
Founded in 1932, it's classified as a first aid facility.
It is a reference center for robotic orthopedic surgery, being the first center in Italy to use the NAVIO robotic system for knee prostheses. It was awarded the "Bollino Blu" prize for its multidisciplinary approach with personalized diagnosis and treatment pathways for prostate cancer. It also has a highly specialized proctological surgery center for anorectal pathologies and the most advanced ultra-mini-invasive gynecological surgery.
The hospital has an inpatient area with private suites. Each suite, with a patient room, a living room and a bathroom, some with a large terrace, is designed to meet the needs of guests in every detail. An in-house chapel, bar and restaurant, swimming pool and rehabilitation gym are also available to patients and guests.
