This building was first built in the 17th century as a villa belonging to the Medici family and is now a well-known therapeutic oasis in a natural setting. Its 63 rooms, 11 junior suites and 4 master suites were refurbished in 2020. The design was inspired by the ornaments of Tuscan palaces and the black and white bands typical of the churches of Florence and Siena. Fonteverde is not only known for its delicious cuisine, artisan workshops, medieval towns and antique markets across the region, but also for its thermal baths with waters rich in fluoride, magnesium and sulphur, and for its philosophy of well-being, i.e. Equilibrium, which is good for the diet, the body and the soul. The property also has a private chapel built in the 11th century, which makes it a great place for weddings and events, while its modern meeting rooms are ideal for combining work and well-being.
