Terme di Casciana
Set in the beautiful countryside of the Tuscan hills, the spa of Casciana Terme, represents, with its more than one thousand years of history, one of those many small masterpieces of the Tuscan tradition that is distinguished by the lifestyle that flows simple and orderly.The thermal water of Casciana is called Acqua Mathelda and flows from the spring at a constant and natural temperature of 35.7°c.
It belongs to the bicarbonate-sulphate-calcic family, with a content of natural mineral salts mixed in such a way as to stand out for their peculiarity and effectiveness.
It has always been used to combat arthrosis, rheumatism and sciatica, and over the years it has seen its uses broaden in modern motor rehabilitation therapies, vascular, dermatological and inhalation treatments. A motor rehabilitation center and an outpatient clinic are located within the spa. The Center for Motor Rehabilitation at the Terme di Casciana in Tuscany has always constituted the cutting edge in the national panorama of rehabilitation in a thermal environment: a true Italian excellence. Accredited by the National Health Service, it carries out a valid and appropriate activity for the functional recovery of the entire musculoskeletal system and offers both outpatient and residential paths.
