Policlinico San Donato
The San Donato Polyclinic is a NHS-accredited hospital and is Institute for Hospitalization and Treatment with Scientific Character (IRCCS)for diseases of the heart and great vessels in adults and children. The Facility has 416 accredited ordinary inpatient beds, plus 4 MAC beds, 9 BIC beds, 2 day surgeries, 2 day hospitals and 19 Dialysis beds.
Hospital equipped with all major specialties, spread over an area of about 40.000 square meters developed over 5 bodies, two with vertical development dedicated to inpatient care (Body A and B), one with horizontal development intended for outpatient services (C), another dedicated to teaching activities (F) and the last one housing Dialysis (E). The Hospital has 14 operating rooms, 3 hemodynamics rooms and 3 electrophysiology rooms.
It is the teaching hub of the Faculty of Medicine and of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing of the University of Milan.
