Italcares is the digital platform dedicated to developing health and wellness tourism in Italy. 

The project comes at a time when the medical tourism market is growing year on year. This opportunity led to the creation of Italcares, a Federterme programme that is co-financed by the Italian Ministry of Tourism. The aim is to facilitate the global dissemination of Italian medical, thermal and wellness tourism offers and to facilitate their international development through a synergistic approach. 

Italcares uses a digital platform to promote Italian excellence in medical, thermal and wellness tourism through a comprehensive range of guaranteed and selected programmes throughout Italy.

The platform helps tourists find the best way to take care of their health, as part of a broader approach to well-being and disease prevention. It offers eco-friendly solutions with a reduced environmental impact, both during travel and during their stay, as well as a variety of immersive experiences that allow tourists to discover Italian culture, places and traditions, enabling them to make a safe choice on the digital platform.
The project partners have been selected for their excellence and include health, thermal, accommodation and spa facilities that provide a variety of medical and wellness services.
